Detroit Kaputt is a fanzine by Klaus Buchholz, initially created from the experiences and meetings throughout the artistic residency at Talking Dolls Detroit in 2024. It exemplifies the research, reflections and ongoing exchange, based on the Sound Bridge collective's ongoing work.

The publication features interviews with three interesting figures growing out of Detroit's creative community, alongside illustrations, photos and artwork:

Zhaoski (Rafael Pouncy): mentor and founder of Audio Wave Works. He discusses the importance of creating open spaces for emerging beatmakers.

Andrea Cardinal: artist, activist, and co‑director of Talking Dolls. She reflects on disability, accessibility, and shares her vision for fully accessible community spaces.

Michael Jevon Demps (IX Lives): interdisciplinary musician, artist and educator. He speaks about his artistic concept and "sampling" as a mode of transformative operation.
